One of the cities
that I would like to visit is Havana, the capital of the largest island in the
Caribbean: Cuba.
I would like to visit the island for a lot of reasons, its tropical climate that maintains an eternal summer but balanced by the rains at mid-afternoon in certain months, its beaches of warm water and fine sand. In addition to its picturesque colonial buildings, the most modern built during the twentieth century and during the process of the revolution, in addition to its history in the Latin American context.
Havana is a city trapped for tourism at the time, particularly in the early years of the Cuban revolution, which makes you travel until those years, being perhaps the few places in the world that still manage to revive one of the most revolutionary epochs of our recent history. In addition to the good rum and mojitos that are the specialty of the bars on the island.
Havana is a Spanish Colonial city, was one of the first founded after the invasion of America, and has experienced a series of revolutionary processes being the last one in the island, the revolution of 1959, the iconic Cuban revolution that convulsed throughout Latin America.
Mainly for all these reasons I would like to go, and I am sure that my boyfriend would also like it because he loves Cuba, rum and tobacco, as well as Cuban history and revolution.
